Mariposa Art Company

Mariposa Art Company, one of BHC's newest community grantees for Fall 2014 is changing the way children view art in Merced. With the help of local partners and friends, MACo believes every child benefit when given a healthy outlet to express themselves.

Mariposa Art Company has been able to offer a plethora of workshops to local children ranging in ages 2-13. With art programs ranging from arts & crafts to story building, MACo is giving the necessary outlets children need to grow healthy lives while expanding their creativity and leadership skills.

"The children also held a cookie drive and made 100 cards to be sent to Valley Children's Hospital, Fresno during the holiday season with the "You're One Tough Cookie" project led by art student Natalie."
Keep up the great work!
