Spring has Sprung!

We survived the shop hop! Thank you all who participated or who just braved the craziness during that past couple of weeks. Many thanks to my staff who has worked many hours preparing for and during the Shop Hop. Special thanks to Claudia, who painted the front door while recovering from the flu. I am now busy ordering everything that needs to be replenished as well as many new fabrics for the fall and even in to winter! While we had received new "beach" fabric, it has been very popular and I am working to have more for our summer guests! We continue to have a full schedule of new and repeat (by your requests) classes on our schedule. See below for details about a little sale starting soon. Our spring yard clean up has begun and daffodils are blooming. Ready to plant my garden! Hope to see you soon. Enjoy Spring!! Kathy and the Serendipity Staff

Reds & Lights Quilt Challenge
This year, we invite you to participate in our 2nd Annual Serendipity Quilt Shop Challenge as we celebrate our 11th Anniversary. Red happens to be Kathy’s favorite color so let’s shower her with Red Quilting love! The challenge is to pick a pattern and then use only Reds and Lights in fabrics of your choice to complete your project.

We plan to display and take a group photo before the 11th Anniversary celebration in June.
Below are the guidelines for this year’s challenge.
  1. Red and Light Fabric – Red must read as red fabric from a distance. No pink fabric. Light can be white, beige or cream.
  2. Project can be any quilt size, table runner, wall hanging, bag, etc. in any pattern you choose.
  3. Projects are due to be completed by 6/1/19 and should be a project that you start and finish in 2019, if possible.
  4. Have Fun!

Feel free to stop in or call the shop (302-732-6304) if you have questions.
