Your involvement in Leave A Legacy means so much to our community, and I'm happy to step into the role of Marketing Chair. I serve as Director of Visibility & Resource Development at the Margaret E. Moul Home in York.
You may have spotted Leave A Legacy billboards, featuring a real York County legacy donor, throughout the county this month. Looking ahead, a "Leave More Than Footprints" campaign and increased social media efforts are two areas of focus for the Marketing Committee. Be sure to come to Steering Committee meeting to stay up to date on all things Leave A Legacy.
As the impact of COVID-19 continues to change by the hour, the events listed may be cancelled or postponed. Thank you for all you do for our community.

We need your help!
Could you do just one of these to help advance Leave A Legacy's mission?
- Submit a brief story (3-5 sentences) on the impact of Leave A Legacy on your non-profit. (Example: The YWCA York received an estate gift of $250,000- this means we were able to provide care packages for over 200 women and children in our shelters and fund 100 girls on scholarship through the Girls on the Run program. This donor has truly left a LEGACY for the lives she touched.)
- Take a picture! We have four billboards in the area, so if you spot one and can take a photo, send it to LALYORK@yorkbar.com.
- Have an idea for content for Leave A Legacy's Facebook page? Share them with me at sberwager@margaretemoul.org.

2020 Membership Information
We've had a great response to the 2020 membership renewals! There are only a few past partners who've not joined. There is still time to stay involved in Leave A Legacy - just send in your information by the end of March.

Volunteers Needed - Boards/Upcoming Events

VisionCorps:
VisionCorps is seeking volunteer drivers. Volunteer drivers are an important part of our services, as they help transport clients who are blind or vision impaired to our Low Vision Support Groups and other essential community locations. The time contribution is only a few hours per month, and we provide the vehicles. All you need is an up-to-date driver's license, insurance, and registration. If you have a little bit of
time to spare, come make a new friend with low vision and have a big impact on their lives! Contact Miranda Golden at 717.848.1690 ext. 107 to learn more about the program and sign up as a volunteer.

Shine a light for awareness! April is Child Abuse Prevention Month. You can join the fight against child abuse and neglect by using a blue bulb in your windows during the month of April.

Location: Outpatient Services at UPMC Memorial
Description: Dr. Thomas Nicholson, from Leader Surgical Associates-UPMC, and Dr. Ali Abbas, from UPMC Specialty Care Gastroenterology, will perform colorectal assessments and answer questions about colorectal cancer. Genetic counselor Meagan Smith, from UPMC Hillman Cancer Center, will also be available to meet with patients and answer questions about cancer genetics.
