HAPPY REENTRY MONTH!
This month, TSM gives a special thank you to the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA),
without whom our reentry efforts would not be possible.
Exceeding, Abundantly!
Fisher Transitional Living for Women (FTLW) continues to see tremendous growth. It has surpassed its 2021 goal to remain at full capacity and has now expanded to include more units to accommodate and serve more women. Thanks to the generosity of TSM donors and funders, FTLW can provide women exiting prison with fully furnished apartments, rent free. The program provides for all their basic needs, including clothing, groceries, toiletries, medication, and transportation so that they can focus on restoring their lives.
What’s Right with the Region (WRWR) Award Recipient
The SoulFisher Ministries (TSM) is honored to announce that FOCUS St. Louis has selected TSM to receive the What’s Right with the Region (WRWR) award. FOCUS will honor TSM at the 24th Annual WRWR Awards Celebration on May 13th. One of 20 award honorees, TSM was chosen under the Improving Equity and Inclusion section for showing an extraordinary commitment to promoting diversity, access, inclusion, and opportunity for all. Summer Camp Fundraiser
This summer, TSM would like to send ENAL students to a four-day summer camp. Many of the families we serve cannot afford to send their children to premium overnight summer camps. Without our help, this may be an experience that our students will never get. For each student, tuition is $395. With your donations, we can make their dreams a reality. There are multiple ways to give. Click the donate button on our website or donate to TSM on Give STL Day, May 6th. Give STL Day early giving is also available for those who want to give now.

TSM is volunteering at the Special Olympics on Saturday, May 8th. Each year TSM brings a large group of volunteers to help with the event. Come and join us in supporting this year’s athletes. Breakfast and lunch will be served. Click the button above to register.

WashU honored her with the other 2020 and 2021 recipients at their annual award ceremony on April 21st. Shawntelle is honored to be selected as a 2020 recipient. She is a pillar in the St. Louis community with a heart to serve.

In addition to serving, Shawntelle is also a powerful speaker. Join her on Wednesday, April 28th from 9:00-11:30 a.m. at the 2021 STAR Summit via Zoom as
she gives an enthralling keynote presentation in honor of reentry week.
Girls on the Run Shoes
The Girls on the Run shoe drive was a success! On Saturday, March 27th, the girls attended a field trip to Shoe Carnival, where they were each provided a pair of running shoes of their choosing. They love their shoes and are now training for their spring 5k run. Thank you to every supporter who donated.
ENAL Returns to Schools
The ENAL After School Program transitioned back into Westview Middle and Koch Elementary on March 29. It was a very smooth transition and applications are pouring in for TSM’s annual 8-week Summer Initiative. Parents with children in the Riverview Garden School District are welcome to apply, but hurry: space is limited. Please contact Caron Strother at [email protected] for more information.
