Tom Reingold
Tom Reingold, Hunter College, returned in August 2019 to finish the BA in Computer Science that he left undone in the 1980s. He is leaving a 34-year career in IT to become a math or science teacher in middle or high school. Confronting a late diagnosis of ADD has helped him understand his challenges, and has also allowed Tom to serve as a positive force of encouragement for Hunter students on social media.
Tom’s advice: “College is hard at any age, but it’s also exhilarating. It’s never too late to reinvent yourself, even when you have disabilities.”
