Meet our new Science Tutor: Rosemary Kinsworthy

I am very excited to be the new Science Tutor for the TRIO-SSS program here, at the Tri-C Metro Campus.

I am originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan and received a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry (minor in Biology) from Alma College in Alma, Michigan. I came to Cleveland after college and, eventually, earned a Masters of Education from John Carroll University. 

I have spent 19+ years teaching secondary science in a variety of settings. I not only enjoy teaching science subjects, but I have also been also a student been a student in a variety of science classes taken at various times at 5 local colleges/universities.

Rosemary is located in MLA 103J.

Students and leaders of color in Ohio colleges and universities will share their experiences navigating their educational journeys amid a pandemic, sharing insight for how educators and institutions can come along side students to support and empower them during this journey.

A moderated panel of students representing multiple colleges and universities will take place during the first half of the event, followed by two higher education leaders responding to the students experiences and sharing best practices.
