Please review this final reminder and complete any applicable steps in our Spring Housing Processes via the Housing Portal before the upcoming deadline of 9 a.m. on Monday, November 1, 2021.
On-Campus Room Changes
  • Requests will be processed in the order they are received and based on available vacant spaces during the Fall 2021 semester. 
  • On-campus moves will take place between Nov. 29 and Dec. 5.
Pull-In Requests
To pull in a new roommate, the current resident must complete the pull-in section of the Room Change Request form: 
  • Students with a current vacancy during the Fall 2021 semester may pull in current residential students or students returning for the Spring 2022 semester (e.g., from abroad, or returning after a semester off, etc.). 
  • Students who have a roommate departing (or moving) for the Spring 2022 semester may only pull in students returning for the Spring 2022 semester. They may NOT pull in current residential students, as the move would not be able to be completed before the fall exam period.

Those who have requested a roommate who does not meet the above criteria will be contacted by our office.
Release from Residency Requirement
Students can enter an Off-Campus Lottery rather than submit a petition to be removed from the six-semester residency requirement.
  • Students should expect to live on-campus until released in writing. 
  • ALL members of a housing group must apply via the Housing Portal and agree to the terms of the Off-Campus Lottery ahead of the deadline for the group to be entered.
Spring 2022 Housing Selection
Students returning to the Reynolda Campus for the Spring 2022 semester will select their housing for the Spring Semester online on December 8, 2021. Additional details will be provided in early November.

Updates about Housing Requests and Releases will be communicated by Nov. 12. Note the upcoming deadline for these processes ( 9 a.m. on Monday, November 1), and let us know if you have any questions at housing@wfu.edu or 336-758-5185.
