Hello BDC!
May is a month of MOVEMENT! We find ourselves outside more - stretching our minds and bodies to smell the flowers, listen to the birds, breathe, and capture the MOVEMENT taking place all around us. Whether it is walking, running, biking or hiking, how do you find yourselves MOVING in May?
Here at 3570 Main Street, we are MOVING FORWARD at a speedy pace! The work to expand and improve the front of our campus continues and Brewster Day Camp is getting ready to MOVE into full-time summer mode! We are approaching full enrollment capacity, yet there is still time and space to register for camp this summer! Click HERE for our online enrollment platform.
The 2022 BDC Leadership Team will meet on campus in May to discuss the upcoming camp season along with the team’s hopes and goals for the summer. For those of us working year-round, this gathering is the true kick-off to summer! We MOVE from being a team of two into a team of fourteen!
With MOVEMENT comes change and progress. We encourage and empower you to take the positivity in these words and embrace the newness that comes with the season! Fill yourselves with an abundance of Courage, Hope, Good Spirit & Peace, and we will see you in the summer!

Brewster Day Camp celebrates MOVEMENT with a different theme each week. We learn to MOVE within ourselves and alongside others. We focus on MOVING our bodies and our minds in big and small ways! Do you have a favorite week at Camp? |

Week 1: July 5th – 8th [BDC Birthday & GRADitude]
Week 2: July 11th – 15th [Creative Arts]
Week 3: July 18th – 22nd [Green and White]
Week 4: July 25th – 29th [Tie-Dye]
Week 5: August 1st – 5th [Olympics]
Week 6: August 8th – 12th [Carnival Day]
Week 7: August 15th – 19th [Wampanoag Day]

Olympic Day is Friday of Week 5! We spend the week learning all about different countries, sporting events and Olympic highlights. On Friday, campers and counselors MOVE out of their tent groups and into Olympic teams. Countries compete in traditional and non-traditional events on Olympic Day. The Slippery Watermelon Relay is always a favorite! |

Mariners Hill Camp is looking for recycled material donations! Campers use plastic, cardboard and paper in their S.T.E.A.M. center to experiment and create. Last summer, these 1st and 2nd graders made marble runs out of paper towel rolls! |
