Nonprofit organizations located in or that serve Pike County can apply for grants through Greater Pike Community Foundation’s Richard L. Snyder Fund from May 15-June 15.



Nonprofit organizations working in the areas of arts and culture, historic preservation, beautification, medical, health, and wellness are encouraged to apply. Contact Greater Pike for clarification if you are unsure if your application will qualify under one of the areas specified.

Get to know The GAIT ACE Fund

The GAIT ACE Fund was established for the benefit of GAIT Therapeutic Riding Center to improve the quality of life of children and adults with special needs through equine activities and therapies. ACE’s primary purpose is to provide financial assistance to participants in GAIT’s programs, enabling them to have a more independent life in society. Donate online to this fund here.

Board Member Spotlight

Maggie Niles has lived in Blooming Grove Township full time since 1999. In addition to participating on the board of the Greater Pike Community Foundation, she is active locally as a board member at the Peters Valley School of Craft, the Wayne Memorial Hospital Foundation, and on a committee for the Episcopal Diocese of Bethlehem.


Before moving to Pike County Maggie did community work in social services, schools and churches as well as working occasionally as a freelance editor and potter. She and her husband, Nick, have two children and two grandchildren.
