Spring 2023 Regional Community Workshops

We are pleased to resume our face-to-face Regional Community Workshops. This Spring’s Community Workshop topic will be “Handle with Care” presented by the Indiana State Department of Health. We will hold the same Workshop at each location, so please mark your calendar and register to attend the one most convenient for you. 

This Fall we will have a new series of Regional Community Workshops,

so please check our website often.

Oftentimes, Dads are considered to be the “Safety Agents” of the family due to our watch dog nature to protect. As summer approaches and the children are with you for more hours of the day, on vacation and trips, consider the following practices:

• Mentally/ physically prepare yourself for spending more face-to-face time with your children. Understand their emotions, excitement, anxiety and energy levels.
• Develop and practice safety fire/disaster evacuation plans for your home and the homes where your children will be spending time....

As the summer sun and temperatures rise, so does the amount of time many people spend outdoors and engage in different routines. Take a moment to remind yourself of the practical tips by click the link below, each of which focuses on a different element of safety to help summer fun reign supreme. 

The 2023 Matt Breman Run

was one for the books!

We had an incredible turnout this year for our new 5k and were thrilled to present Rhonda Yoder Breman, and her family, with a $22,169 check for Prevent Child Abuse Indiana.

Thank you to everyone who ran with us, walked with us, volunteered with us, and made this day possible. We are incredibly thankful to be able to host this 5K in honor of Matt Breman and raise these necessary funds for children in Indiana.
