PLAY-IN GAME CHANGES

For teams drawn into a play-in game, agreed upon game changes are due by 3pm on FRIDAY, MARCH 14.

I HAVE A PLAY-IN GAME ON APRIL 13, CAN I PLAY ON APRIL 13 AT OUR HOME FIELD? Teams scheduled to play on April 13 can play BEFORE April 13 at another location. Teams that elect to play on April 13 must play the match at The MAC in Crystal Lake as scheduled by IYSA. With league games and other tournaments going on, referees availability can be limited so only having Cup games play at the IYSA location ensures maximum referee coverage.

MY TEAM PLAYS THE WINNER OF AN APRIL 13 PLAY-IN GAME ON APRIL 19, CAN I CHANGE THE GAME AFTER I KNOW WHO I PLAY FOLLOWING THE APRIL 13 MATCH? If your team is waiting on a previous match to determine your opponent you should reach out to BOTH teams and come to tentative agreements with both teams, should they advance to play you. Those tentative agreements should be submitted by the March14 deadline in order for IYSA to allow the change.

CAN I PLAY MY PLAY-IN GAME ON MAY 1? NO. All play-in games must be completed by April 19 in order to allow teams to finalize their group play games.

MY TEAM PLAYS THE WINNER OF AN APRIL 13 PLAY-IN GAME, HOW DO I KNOW MY POTENTIAL OPPONENTS? If waiting on the winner of another play-in game there are two ways you can find your potential opponent.

1. If you look at the bracket, you will see the two teams competing prior to your April 19 play-in game
2. In the GotSport schedule, BOTH your potential opponents will be listed, example: "Northwind/Bolingbrook Winner"

COACHING CONFLICTS

If you are coaching multiple teams in the State Cup, Presidents Cup, Illinois Cup and/or 12U Girls Junior State Cup you must submit the required form due by 3pm on FRIDAY, MARCH 14.

IYSA will use the information submitted to build group play games to avoid coaching conflicts.

IF YOU DO NOT SUBMIT THIS FORM AND THE SCHEDULE COMES OUT AND THERE ARE COACHING CONFLICTS THERE WILL BE NO CHANGES MADE.

GRADUATION INFO

If you have players that are graduating high school or 8th grade this Spring you must submit the required Graduation Conflict form by 3pm on FRIDAY, MARCH 14.

IYSA will use the information submitted to build group play and elimination round games to avoid as many conflicts with school graduations as possible. Please note that we may not be able to avoid all conflicts but any conflict not submitted will not be considered.

IF YOU DO NOT SUBMIT THIS FORM CHANGES TO THE SCHEDULE WILL NOT BE MADE DUE TO GRADUATIONS.

Please note that this is ONLY FOR GRADUATION OF PLAYERS ON THE CUP ROSTER. Other school events or personal conflicts will not be considered. Dates for the Cup have been posted since August.
