As we enter the early days of the Spring Season, we are guided by the rising energy, growing
light and movement that nature shows us. Winter has been cold, and dark with an intensity of
emotions from a world struggling. It is likely that Spring will be intense as well. How do we deal
with the anxieties of life today?
We have spoken a lot over the last few newsletters about how to do little things each day to
ground ourselves, clear our energy, and keep our balance. Deep breathing morning and night,
taking time to connect with nature, stretching and smiling when we get up to start the day right
and more. Remember, Spring is the promise of renewed hope and the return of life; a time to
plant seeds and watch how life and beauty unfolds. What kind of seeds are we planting and
how are we nourishing ourselves and the earth so we can experience all the beauty life has to
offer.
Each day the light increases as we move toward spring. As we leave the stark beauty of winter,
with its brown colors and dry leaves on the ground, the seeds of life, movement, growth and
beauty blossom into spring. We need to take these signs of hope into our lives and offer light
and love in all the small ways we can. The reality is that little things done by many people can
create ripples of change. That is how we change the world. One small act at a time. Move, grow
and spread light. Stay grounded in love and connection.
“Hope is the thing with feathers
That perches in the soul,
And sings the tune without words
And never stops at all.
And sweetest – in the Gale – is heard
And sore must be the storm,
That could abash the little Bird
That kept so many warm.
I’ve heard it in the chilliest land
And on the strangest Sea,
Yet – never – in Extremity
It asked a crumb – of me.
