Greetings from Dallas, TX, where Life Spring kicked off the year at the ECO Conference in Dallas, TX. We were exhibiting our resources to over 1300 church leaders throughout the week.
We are also excited about our upcoming monthly Taste of Omega Luncheons where we have invited churches in New England to come and have conversations about making discipleship intentional in their churches and ministries. We have created a new and updated version of the Intro to the Omega Experience Seminar which is now available on our website in the Video Training Center. Check out the description of the Luncheon and a link to the videos here. This seminar is designed to challenge church leaders to understand what is happening in the culture of American Christianity and practical next steps that they can take to become more of a holistic, transformational disciple-making community. We have also finished re-taping a new and updated version of the Body Life Basics course that has been running at Living Hope Community Church over the past two months. This seven-session seminar is designed to train people in understanding a Biblical vision for our corporate life together. It trains people to think Biblically, holistically and practically about the church’s mission, functions, strategy, goals, coordinated servant-hood and tactics. It is a perfect complement to the content in the Delta and Omega Courses and can be used as part of your church membership process. We are seeing people dream again as they see the entirety of the mission of the church and dream about how they can be the hand or elbow that God has created them to be.
The way that Living Hope has engaged this journey has been to invite their key leaders (who have already gone through Delta, Body Life Basics or Small Group Leader Training) to be table leaders leading discussions with church members and attenders. Groups from two other churches have joined us on this journey as well. All three churches have been blessed.
Finally, we have been super excited that God is assembling a power team to help expand Life Spring Network's reach. Eric Kampmann, Charlie Caviola, and Mary Beth Farrell-Kirkpatrick have been helping us strategize how to expand the Life Spring Network message through social media and podcasts, etc. Scott Troyer has also been working with us to provide quality video products of our seminars and teaching. As needed, we will re-tape and update other seminars.
