Community Volunteer Income Tax Program

March Dates:

Need a hand to prepare your tax return? Volunteers can help you prepare your income tax and benefit return if you have modest income and a simple tax situation. Volunteers are not employees or volunteers of the Canada Revenue Agency.

Please bring all of your tax slips and forms with you.

An appointment is required.

Birdwatching Kits Land at the

Meaford Public Library

Birdwatching kits have hit the shelves and are filled with everything you need for a beginner's birding excursion.

There are kits for both adults and juniors.

What's in the birdwatching kits?

These kits are sponsored by Friends of the Meaford Library and contain:

Celestron binoculars in a wearable, soft-shell case
Identification guide for birds of Grey County.
A journal for note taking (yours to keep).
Two bird guides:
Birds – a Guide to Familiar Birds of North America
The Young Birder’s Guide to Birds of North America
Each kit comes in a comfortable backpack so you can take it on your adventures.

Borrowing a birdwatching kit

Customers will be able to borrow a kit for a one-week period. Place a hold from our online catalogue or by calling the Library.
