One Call. Real Impact. Phonathon 2026!

The 2026 Phonathon concludes on March 11, and alumni may soon receive a call from a fellow Meteor sharing updates from the school and inviting support for the student financial assistance program. This annual effort helps ensure that a quality education remains accessible to families throughout our community.

Thanks to the generosity of alumni and supporters, the school is able to provide more than $2.7 million in student tuition assistance this year, ensuring that more than 90% of our students receive support. The average tuition award is $3,500, a crucial resource for many families. Every gift—no matter the size—helps make a meaningful difference for current and future students.

Building Futures: Alumni Career & Trades Fair

De La Salle Institute is excited to invite alumni back to campus for Career & Trades Fair Day on March 19, 2026 from 8:00 am - 10:30 am. This special event provides students with the opportunity to learn directly from alumni as they explore future career paths and gain insight into a wide range of professions.

During the day, alumni will share their career journeys, industry experiences, and practical advice, helping students better understand the skills, education, and perseverance needed to succeed beyond De La Salle. The Career & Trades Fair Day also serves as a meaningful way for graduates to reconnect with the school community while making a lasting impact on the next generation of Meteors.

We invite alumni interested in participating to please complete the interest form at the link below.

We look forward to welcoming you back to campus and thank you for continuing to support and inspire our students.

Alumni Spotlight

De La Salle alum Chris Jordan ’07 visited our Incubator class in January, sharing real-world entrepreneurial insights with our students.

Help Inspire Student Entrepreneurs

Our INCubatoredu program provides our high school students with the opportunity to develop their own business, practice entrepreneurial thinking, and gain real-world experience.

To make this experience as impactful as possible, we are seeking alumni/alumnae who are entrepreneurs—whether currently running a business or having owned one in the past—to serve as coaches or mentors.

If you're interested in coaching or mentoring our students, reach out to Mr. Cunat cunatr@dls.org or Mr. Kubek kubekg@dls.org .

Fifth Quarter Event

Following the boys basketball game on January 30th, De La Salle and Lourdes alumni, and friends of the school, gathered for our Fifth Quarter Alumni event. The evening provided a great opportunity to reconnect, share school spirit, and celebrate the newest members of the Meteor family—the incoming Class of 2030.

Meteors in Arizona

Alumni and friends had a blast at Happy Hour and the White Sox/Cubs game, reconnecting and celebrating the De La Salle community.

A special thank-you to Cubs Radio Analyst Ron Coomer, who not only joined us for Happy Hour but also invited the group up to the radio booth at Sloan Park—where Cubs play-by-play announcer Zach Zaidman joined us for a fun photo op!
