22 May 2022 With your help, we will soon be launching a state-of-the-art Computerized Collections Information System (CCIS), available to you and everyone around the world. Through an interactive website, you will be able to search more than three million items in ASM's collections. Users will have access to non-sensitive information and high-resolution images. Curators and database managers have been working for years to migrate 129-years-worth of content at a cost of about $400,000 so far.

The system is Axiell's Electronic Museum, or EMu for short, used effectively for decades by major museums and libraries around the world.
