Our SBTA Mission: To Educate and Instruct on the Sport of Tennis 

Our SBTA Vision: To provide the opportunity for quality, affordable tennis for all levels of play in our Spring Branch Community. Within this context, the SBTA seeks to promote an environment for developing morally sound, physically fit, self-reliant individuals. As well as, provide our community a safe place to benefit from healthy activities and social interactions.

Junior Team Tennis

USTA Junior Team Tennis is a great way to meet new friends, learn the sport of tennis and experience competition in a fun way. JTT offers competitive play for ages 5 to 18. This is a great option for a player who isn't quite ready for 2 out 3 sets and no coaching. While this is still very much a learning experience all players are expected to be able to serve, maintain a rally and know how to keep score. 

As competition increases so do the stakes. Teams who win at the local level will advance to "Sectionals".

JTT brings together boys and girls, to play singles, doubles and mixed doubles against other coed teams.

SBTA would like to have our players participate in the GVTC 5K run/walk. This is a great cross train for tennis, but it is also a great way to give back to our community. The GVTC Foundation does amazing things for our community and surrounding areas from Non-Profit support to college scholarships. With your help we could put more dollars in the SBTA scholarship account by winning the "Non Profit with the most runners".

Mrs. Powell is our NJTL Education Coordinator. She is here for your junior player, from academic support to speakers and activities. Mrs. Powell is a big piece of why SBTA and our Elite Tennis and Education program is so different from other tennis programs. We build strong, confident and well-rounded players by supporting them on and off the court.
