CHELSEY PRICE

Mrs. Price is in her second year here at SMS as our 6th & 7th grade Science teacher. She is extremely creative in her lesson plans. She works hard to engage students in daily lessons. And the lab experiments that are done in 6th grade are engaging and provide learning in a fun unique way.

Mrs. Price is also one of our CKH Process Champions. She has been charged with the 'E' for EMPOWER in the EXCEL model. Her most recent tip provided to the staff was to give students a voice, decision making power, and to involve students in real issues.

Congratulations to the SMS Captain's Guard for placing 2nd at the Cypress-Park TCGC Competition! They were less than 1 point away from 1st place! We are so proud of y'all!!

Our next competition is March 11th at Cypress-Falls High School. The Captain’s Guard performs at 10:06am and the Royal Guard performs at 2:10pm. Hope to see y'all there!

Mrs. Hays has trusted the process and made phenomenal growth with her students. She has embraced change and pushes each day to make sure her students receive the best! Thank you for your dedication and love for our Pirates!

Our FFA Tractor Tech team advanced yesterday to be one of only 10 teams in the state to compete in the arena for state finals. They came away being named 5th in the state, and gained a few cool prizes as well! These boys have been prepping for months and it definitely paid off!! 💙💙 #SHS #debugging

The SHS Pirate Baseball team competed in the Cleveland Rotary and went 3-1 this past weekend.

Shepherd Middle School JROTC Physical Fitness Team took second place at the Lion Challenge Meet in Livingston. Outstanding job team!
