Volunteer Coach Credit Benefit

Recreation Goalkeeper Training

Back by popular demand! The perfect pre-season training for U10-U12 recreation goalkeepers. You do not have to be a "full-time" goalkeeper to attend. Players will learn or brush up on the proper techniques needed to be safe and successful in goal. The sessions are led by Director of Goalkeeping John Szaro and begin March 14. Spring Skills Academy

Players U7-U12 have an opportunity to receive additional skills development training during the spring season with outdoor sessions led by coaches in a focused, fun environment. The sessions begin April 2 and the curriculum consists of age-appropriate fun activities for players to get more touches on the ball, learn new techniques, and sharpen their skills! MYS offers No School Day CAMPS to families on specific dates when Fairfax County Public Schools are closed. The MYS Half-Day camp provides campers with a morning of fun soccer related activities while the Kick N'Code option offers the MYS Half-Day of soccer camp PLUS an afternoon of learning how to code! Camps are running March 31-April 1 at Lewinsville Park.
