Please notify Sean Woytek of your student’s risk of exposure history and intentions to self-quarantine.
Moving forward, we request that all families be extra vigilant with ensuring their students stay home if they have any type of respiratory illness or are experiencing a fever, cough, or shortness of breath. We will be following the
CDPHE guidelines for exclusion from school
which includes recommendations to “exclude students/staff with fever or respiratory symptoms from school/work until at least 24 hours after they no longer have a fever (without use of fever-reducing medicine), runny nose or productive cough and other symptoms are improving. Ill students/staff should be separated from others until they can be picked up/go home.”
- If you believe that you’ve been exposed to the COVID-19 virus, please call your doctor to assess if you meet criteria to be tested. It is important to call ahead before going to see a doctor or emergency room to prevent the spread of illness. Tell them your symptoms and that you suspect you were exposed to someone with COVID-19 or had recent travel to a country that is experiencing community spread.
- If you do not have a doctor, please call SJBPH at 970.247.5702. Option 1.
