Greetings!
Our carousel memories collection ends this week. If you haven't submitted a story to be considered for our Carousel Stories videos, please share by Friday! The videos will debut throughout the summer as part of the Carousel 100th Anniversary celebration.

We are happy to announce a new activity for kids & families that is also part of our Carousel 100th Anniversary celebration: Carousel Story Time. Once a month through September, join us as we read engaging, carousel-themed stories!

You'll find all the details and links for these activities, upcoming classes, and more below.

Enjoy!
Share Your Carousel Story

Submit your story by Friday!

Our months-long celebration of the Carousel 100th Anniversary will include the premieres of three short videos that will feature personal stories reflecting the unique and enduring role the carousel has played in the community for a century. In this joint project with Story Tapestries, we are collecting information from the public through the end of March

While only a handful of the stories collected will end up in the films described above, many of the stories will be shared in other ways throughout the carousel celebration, and all the stories will be preserved.
Carousel Story Time

As part of our Carousel 100th Anniversary celebration, we hope you and your little ones will join us each month from April through September for Carousel Story Time on Saturday mornings. We will present six stories that feature wonderful tales of carousels.

Full schedule & more details coming soon! First story time will be on April 24.

VIRTUAL Photoworks
Photoworks Challenge:
Art for Artists

At the first Photoworks online benefit this past December, the Faculty donated prints to the annual photo raffle. Afterwards, Photoworks asked their community of artists to donate their own prints in support of Photoworks. Using #photoworkschallenge on Social Media, artists auctioned of their prints to the highest bidder in exchange for a donation to Photoworks.

As a way to acknowledge their gratitude to all of the artists that participated in the Photoworks Challenge, they put together an online exhibition of the donated artwork.
