Spring Cleaning For Wellbeing

As the season shifts and the days grow a little brighter, spring offers us something powerful: a natural invitation to reset.

We often think of spring cleaning as something external—clearing out closets, reorganizing our homes—but what about the clutter we carry within?

The stress.

The racing thoughts.

The patterns that no longer serve us.

This is your reminder that your mind deserves a reset too.

At Southern Om, we believe one of the most effective ways to clear mental and emotional clutter is simple: move your body, breathe deeply, and show up consistently.

Through the heat, the breath, and the rhythm of your practice, something begins to shift. You start to let go—of tension, of noise, of everything weighing you down. What’s left is clarity, steadiness, and a deeper connection to yourself.

And here’s the beautiful part: you don’t have to wait months to feel it.

In as little as seven days of consistent practice, you may begin to notice:

• A calmer, more focused mind

• Better sleep and improved energy

• Reduced stress and anxiety

• A greater sense of clarity and control

This spring, we invite you to commit to yourself in a new way.

Not just once a week.

Not just when it’s convenient.

But daily.

Show up for seven days. Step on your mat. Breathe. Move. Sweat. Release.

Let this be your internal spring cleaning.

Come sweat it out, clear it out, and start fresh.

We’ll meet you on your mat!

Austin Shook Sound Healing April 11th

Austin’s approach to sound healing involves using a variety of instruments, including crystal singing bowls, gongs, drums, tuning forks, vocals, and more to help individuals connect with their true essence and to promote relaxation and healing on all levels. Austin’s set up is truly one of a kind with over 14 different instruments (25 instruments altogether) and his collection continues to grow!

This workshop experience will begin with a gentle guided meditation or simple breathwork exercise for the first 5 or 10 minutes. We will then transition into listening to sounds for the remainder of the class. In the sound bath portion of this experience, Austin will be using an array of musical instruments from ancient cultures to create a space of deep peace. With these instruments they will be holding space for each of you to connect with aspects of yourselves that may get blocked or disconnected through our daily routines. You may experience negative thought forms, traumas, or emotional patterns coming to the surface to be released. You may also experience deep relaxing states that can promote awareness of yourself beyond the body or emotions that can lead you to the essence of your being.
