Associate Professor Ford Versypt is leading the Systems Biomedicine and Pharmaceutics Laboratory at UB CBE. She has received numerous awards for her research, teaching, and service including the NSF CAREER Award, ASEE Chemical Engineering Ray W. Fahien Award, AIChE 35 Under 35, and is an Academic Trustee of Computer Aids for Chemical Engineering (CACHE).

CBE PhD Candidate Saber Meamardoost earned 3rd place in the fifth annual Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition for his work on using network inference to understand neuroplasticity in the brain during learning. He is member of CBE Associate Professor Rudi Gunawan's research group.
