Spring Commencement Ceremony
|
|
Dear Graduate,
Like you, we are disappointed that we are unable to celebrate this spring's graduation in the traditional ways we had previously planned. We were looking forward to gathering together as Bengals and recognizing your achievements. In a rapidly changing environment, we do not want to reschedule the ceremony for a later date this summer only to have to cancel again. We also know that walking across the stage to receive your diploma was something you were looking forward to.
We invite you to participate in one of our upcoming commencement ceremonies on December 12, 2020 or May 8, 2021 in Pocatello, May 10, 2021 in Boise, or a commencement date further into the future

whatever will work for you and your families.
We also want to celebrate your accomplishments right now. Graduates, please share your graduation story with us. Tell us what your degree means to you. How you will use what you learned in the next phase of your journey. What you had to do to accomplish your goal. What attaining a degree means to your family. These stories can be brief videos, photos with written reflections, or a link to a portfolio of your work. We'd like to post these stories where your family and friends, your classmates, your teachers, and many others can see them and help you to celebrate. We know how much effort it took for you to reach this important milestone. Let's share this joyful occasion in a new way, together.

Graduation Fee Refund
As mentioned earlier, the graduation fee for students graduating in Spring 2020 or August 2020 has been returned. Refunds will be sent as E-refunds or as a refund check.
E-refund:
To avoid delays in receiving your refund we encourage you to enroll in E-refund. If you have not enrolled in E-refund please take a few minutes to review this
article
with instructions on how to set up E-refunding.
Mailed Refund:
If you choose to not enroll in E-refund, your refund check will be mailed using the USPS standard mail service, and your refund check will be mailed to the mailing address on file with the university. To verify your mailing address, log into BengalWeb and choose the Academic Tools icon, then on the lower left hand corner select Personal Information Self-Service, under the Student Records channel. Please review and make any needed updates to your mailing address in BengalWeb.

|
Mailed Diplomas
Diplomas will be mailed in late May and early June. To verify your diploma address, log into BengalWeb and choose the Academic Tools icon, then see View Application to Graduate. Changing your mailing address in BengalWeb does not automatically update your diploma address. If you need to update your diploma address, please email gradisu@isu.edu. Along with your diploma, each of you will receive a diploma cover and a printed program listing all graduates' names.

Delay of Graduation
If your graduation date must change due to current grades or an inability to meet graduation requirements this semester, please communicate with your advisor, instructors and Office of the Registrar’s graduation team (
gradisu@isu.edu
) or the Graduate School.
We recognize that your graduation is the culmination of years of hard work, dedication, and tenacity. All of us look forward to celebrating with you, in person, at one of our upcoming ceremonies. Again, congratulations on your amazing achievement.
