In-Kind Donations

We are grateful for the many ways our community supports our school. In addition to financial gifts, in-kind donations—such as goods, services, or professional expertise—play a meaningful role in enriching our school. If you’re interested in contributing in this way, we invite you to complete our in-kind donation form. Your generosity helps strengthen the daily experience of our students and teachers in meaningful ways.

If you have questions or would like to discuss a potential in-kind donation, please contact Rachel Ornstein.

Fifth Grade

Birch Trees

While observing the birch tree in front of our school, 5th grade students noticed how, from ground to sky, its trunk divides into smaller limbs, branches, and twigs and the bark's horizontal pattern resembles eyes. Students applied their observations and imagination as they gave paintings of the birch tree beautiful new settings.

Inside and Outside the Classroom

Second grade hiked at Stoney Creek Metro Park.

They are continuing to nurture the important lesson of appreciating and protecting nature. The second grade students practice being good stewards of the land by collecting garbage on their outings.

Sixth Grade - Handwork

Community Library Recommendations

Is there a book that's a MUST READ for DWS students and should be in the library's permanent collection? DWS is asking for recommendations for library donations!
