A huge shout out to PJ Schaffer and his elite crew of Dave Moffit and Larry Colantuono for an awesome RC effort and a great day on the water. Spring conditions have arrived and 52 degrees feels way better than 22! The race committee got 6 races off and mixed things up with H, W, and M courses. A great day for all.
Congrats to fleet newcomer Mike Zonnenberg! Mike went 1,1,2,5,3,1 to take the day. Mike is the second person to win the day in a fleet boat! Kudos to fleet co-captain Scott Pakenham for maintaining the fleet boats and managing the program!

Long time fleet leader and top sailor Ted Hood steps in this week as PRO. The mark boat will be skillfully handled by Steve Kosacz and CJ Congrove.
Forecast looks great again...Partly sunny...50 degrees...WSW 14. And the water is up to about 44.
Helly Jacket Raffle at IYAC
The first two jackets were raffled off at IYAC over the last several weeks. The first went to Scott Vogel on a day that he worked RC. The second jacket went to Dan Neri on a day when he won the day. Both Dan and Scott picked out the color/size they wanted and the jackets are at Team One having the fleet burgee embroidered on. Please show up for festivities this week to get in on the give away!

Race Committee
Thank you to everyone who has stepped up to volunteer for RC since Moose returned to URI and when Kelly has been traveling. Kelly will return on the weekend of April 3rd but we still need a PRO and at least one more volunteer. Please sign up on the website or respond to this email.
