The spring Congregational Meeting was held on May 17, 2026 at 11:30 am.

Members will vote by electronic or mail-in ballots.

The voting period is Sunday, May 17, 2026 through Wednesday, May 27.


The 2026 Spring Congregational Meeting included:

  • The 2026-27 church year budget to be approved.
  • Introductions to the slate of leaders to be elected for positions beginning in July 2026
  • Living into our Name
  • Rollout
  • Themes - Sustainability and Vibrancy


Voting includes the following:

  • Elect Board Trustees (nominees for three-year terms: AnnMarie Oien, Laura Lundin, Brian Fawns) Link to bios
  • Elect Leadership Nominating Committee members (nominees for three-year term: Tara McKinster, Jeff Rathmann) (nominee for two-year term to replace resignation: Cheryl Barr) Link to bios
  • Elect Endowment and Memorial Gift Trust Directors (nominee for three-year term: Meridee Cecil) Link to bios
  • Approve 2026-27 annual operating budget. Please watch the video link at the top of the email for more important information.


You may vote in one of the following ways:


  • Print and complete this ballot and mail it in or drop it off at the church.


  • Request that a ballot be mailed to you from the JUC office by calling 303-279-5282 or emailing office@jeffersonunitarian.org. Please include your mailing address.


Only members who joined no later than April 28, 2026 may vote. Voting eligibility will be verified by the JUC office, so your name must appear on the ballot to be counted. We must receive 95 ballots in order to achieve a quorum for the vote. Your vote must be received by 11:59 pm on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 to be counted.
