Cookies, Confidence, and a Night to Remember

This month, our A Place for Girls program in South Portland had the opportunity to attend the Maine Celtics game, cheering on the players and running a cookie booth inside the arena. The girls surpassed their goals selling 236 boxes—and even shared a fun, spontaneous ā€œbest cookie flavorā€ debate with player John Tonje. These Girl Scouts left the arena not only with strong sales, but with skills and memories that will last long after cookie season.

A Place for Girls programs operate in areas where girls face barriers to participation. Supporters like you make it possible to provide troop leaders, membership fees, and program supplies in there areas.
