Here's the first....somewhat later than expected (where did the year go?) newsletter of 2016 with details of exhibitions and latest artwork. With the May Bank Holiday coming up and warmer days starting to happen, here's a couple of bright and cheery art events for your diary. Enjoy!

News for Spring 2016

"Shakti Dance' (a study of the light-filled cherry blossom in my garden)is  my latest piece, finished  just in time f or the Henley opening (full details below).

To read more about my inspiration for this, hop over to my art blog Painting Light .

I'm also relishing the opportunity to extend my portrait skills...completing this flight of fancy, below, in January after three month's hard work (more on the epic journey of it in my article

There's more work in the pipeline...a very productive month so far (as April into May generally is for me as I get back into my stride). Also, I'm just back from Wales where drawing sheep was my prime way of relaxing between walks in the hills, a revival of pencil-usage I hope to keep going!
