Spring is here!  At least in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, Alabama.

As our Snowbirds start their migration north, and the families head south for their Spring Break, we hope this will be the start of an outstanding season along the Gulf Coast.

We encourage you to support this community and visit as often as you can. Enjoy a much needed break from the city, relax by our beautiful waterways, beaches and Gulf.

Spring Draw Down - Orange Beach Elementary School

As a proud member of the Orange Beach Community, I would like to personally invite you to attend:

The Inaugural Drawdown hosted by the Orange Beach Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization to benefit the Orange Beach Elementary School.

 

The event, "FOOLS GOLD", will be held on April 1, 2011. The purse or "pot" is $5,000!

 

The OBES PTO FOOLS GOLD Inaugural Drawdown will be held at the Community Center in Orange Beach. Tickets for the event are $100/couple.

 

There will be live music for dancing the night away, as well as a gourmet dinner served/catered by Shipps Harbour Grill. Soft beverages will be served and guests are welcome to bring beverages of their choice. The doors will open at 6:30pm on April 1st.

 

"This fantastic event will raise much needed funds for the organization, as it pertains directly to the teacher and school's needs", said Farrah Keel, OBES PTO President. "We have all been affected by the economy's downturn these past few years, and schools are some of the hardest hit. An event like this offers the community a chance to participate in a fundraiser to benefit Orange Beach's Elementary School. People can have a great time, and best of all- have a chance to go home with a fabulous cash prize!"
