The Shelter for Help in Emergency has an opportunity for local youth to collaborate with the Shelterâs prevention program â please share with any students you think may be interested!
The Shelter provides intervention and prevention resources to survivors of intimate partner violence and their loved ones in Charlottesville and surrounding areas.
The Shelterâs prevention program is recruiting middle and high school students in Charlottesville/Albemarle (ages 13 and up) who would be interested in making a video about consent in friendships. It is free to participate; students will learn filmmaking skills thanks to a partnership with Lighthouse Studios and can gain community service hours for school.
