Program Spotlights

H.O.N.E

Hands On Nutrition Education (H.O.N.E) introduces elementary school students to the basics of eating balanced and nutritious meals, and to the joy of growing nutritious, delicious food for themselves. The 4-week long program includes Eat all 5 to Thrive, Our Food Influences, Produce Harvest, and International Food Day...using a mobile garden and kitchen!

Chef Netta will bring H.O.N.E to several more schools this spring. She also has various other community culinary and nutrition programs currently in the works -- stay tuned for updates on those!

H4H

Hope 4 Humanity (H4H) is a vital ministry of Spring Forest, dedicated to confronting injustice and caring for neighbors near and far. Grounded in the belief that everybody counts, H4H focuses on immigration, indigenous justice, and domestic violence — aligning with Spring Forest's broader commitment to disrupting unjust systems and fostering compassion. H4H is organizing several upcoming pilgrimages that offer opportunities for learning, advocacy, and solidarity. If you would like to join a pilgrimage, or sponsor someone on this transformative journey, visit our website for more information.
