Spring is upon us and is a great reminder that new life is all around. Not only do we see flowers and grass springing up in our communities, but it's also a great reminder to look for new life in ourselves and those we love. This is a time to shake off the old and embrace the new opportunities that might be coming our way.
Spring also reminds us to have a "Yes" attitude. Much like the seeds that have been stored under heavy winter soil, the "yes" approach tells us that a seed can push forward, through the hardship and dirt to reach the sun. As it pushes up, the soil cracks and the light seeps in. We aren't that much different, are we? As we are driven and push through our own hardships, we to can reach our goals and feel the warm light of success.
In this newsletter I'm proud to celebrate the success of my granddaughter, Cameron. And, I had a little success of my own. I was the guest on a popular podcast. We are also celebrating over five decades of honoring Mother Earth on Earth Day. Keep reading to learn more about these things and more.

CONGRATULATIONS to my granddaughter, Cameron.
We are so proud of her achievements--Both Academically and in Performing Arts.
|
|
Academically:
Cameron ("Cam") had the highest GPA in the district and will receive a scholarship.
Cam was recently named one of Jacksonville's highest academic performing students by the Gamma Beta Boule's of Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity.
|
|
|
|
Congratulations also to Cam's baby sister, Reagan ("Ray") who is doing a wonderful job academically and in performing arts.
Ray is an "A" student and is in a performing arts extracurricular program, called "SET" (Student Educational Theater), where she will be competing in the next few weeks--doing a monologue, singing, and acting.
Say a Prayer for her further SUCCESS!
Also, she was selected to attend Douglas Anderson School of the Arts in the Fall. YEAH! Congrats, Ray Ray!
