Conference and Event Update

As uncertainty remains around COVID-19 and local and state ordinances, we will not be able to hold our conference as planned in May 2021. We are planning to host additional virtual events throughout the year, and hope to have an in-person networking and educational opportunity in the Fall.

If you have any thoughts on how Colorado NAHRO can best serve you and your organization through virtual events or programs this year, please email us!

As part of the 2021 Housing America campaign, NAHRO is holding a poster contest for children associated with affordable housing and community development programs owned or administered by national NAHRO member agencies (like us here at Colorado NAHRO!).

The deadline to submit your poster to Colorado NAHRO is June 1, 2021.

Colorado NAHRO is proud to offer educational scholarship opportunities, with a potential for scholarship awardees to earn additional funding at the regional and national levels! Funds can be used for a variety of secondary educational programs.

Please share this program with your resident-facing staff, including Resident Services and Property Management, to encourage high school seniors and current secondary education students to apply!

Applications are due by May 15, 2021.

Eagle County Housing and Development Authority Issues RFQ for Affordable Housing Development

Eagle County Housing and Development Authority (“ECHDA”) is soliciting statements of qualifications and experience from qualified and creative developers or development teams to be primarily responsible for the planning, design, construction and financing of an affordable housing development on approximately 9.5 acres of County-owned land in West Eagle in partnership with Eagle County and the ECHDA. This Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) will be non-exclusive. Click here for more information.

When you register for one of NAHRO's Distance Learning trainings using our region-specific code, Mountain Plains NAHRO will receive 30% of the revenue to support our regional advocacy efforts and professional development opportunities, and more.
