2021 has arrived and with it is new openings at ArtWorks for Youth Apprentices and Teaching Artists. We are strongly committed to building and retaining a diverse staff that creates an inclusive workplace which harnesses each voice to collectively advance ArtWorks’ mission.
ArtWorks is hiring passionate, young artists (ages of 14 – 21) who are eager to create art, make a difference in the city, work in diverse teams, and build new skills.

We have three different Teaching Staff opportunities: Lead Teaching Artist, Teaching Artist, and Junior Teaching Artist. Bellevue Art in Park | Call to Artists

Art in the Park is a celebration of the arts hosted by IN VUE in Bellevue, KY. Applications are being accepted for participation in the juried show on Saturday, September 11, 2021. All work must be the artist’s own creation and of original concept. The early deadline to apply is April 26. The final deadline is May 24. Learn more here. Questions? Fitton Center for Creative Arts | 50th Hamilton Current Regional Art Competition Spring 2021

Artworks from this year’s selected artists will be projected in wall-scale images on the Fitton Center’s exterior in an exciting new week-long outdoor digital presentation. Ongoing social media artist features will also be an extension of the show. Artworks chosen for Cash Awards and Honorable Mention Awards by judges will be physically installed in the ground floor Monument Gallery at Fitton Center for Creative Arts, 101 S. The grant is designed to arm artists with the necessary business skills to succeed as artists and entrepreneurs—and to make a living through their artwork. Open to both emerging and established artists, the Art Business Accelerator grants resources to invest in your art business as well as six weeks of career-building modules that increase business skills, economic proficiency, marketing knowledge and more. The 2021 grant cycle is open March 1, 2021 - May 14, 2021. An informational webinar will be held on March 22; register here.

S.O.S. Art | USA Miniprints for Peace and Justice 2021
|
|
SOS Art is calling for miniprints from any North American artist or artist living in the USA for its annual challenge. The call is limited to only traditional techniques of printmaking (digital prints not accepted) and must relate to themes of peace and justice.
A selection of up to 50 miniprints, chosen by SOS ART invited reviewers, will be exhibited at the yearly SOS ART exhibit and event for peace and justice (Date and Place, in person or online, to be determined) and possibly later at different venues. The deadline to apply is May 1, 2021.

Manifest Gallery | Manifest Artist Residency (MAR) and Scholar in Residence (SIR) 2021/2022
|
|
Manifest Gallery has two programs, the Manifest Artist Residency (MAR) and Scholar in Residence (SIR), open for application by any serious emerging or established artist, including recent graduates from college art programs.
The MAR will include 24/7 use of up to a 500 square ft. north lit studio adjacent to Manifest Gallery, and more, for one year. The SIR will include immersion in the Manifest Drawing Center study culture, including free enrollment in all programming, a dedicated work space, mentoring, and daily access to and use of the Drawing Center facility, and more, for one year.

Rochester Contemporary Art Center's annual 6x6 exhibition is an international small art phenomenon with thousands of works from all around the world. It is completely free and you may enter up to three 6 inch by 6 inch pieces in any medium (except glitter) by April 10, 2021.(Postmarked Deadline: International by April 2 / U.S. by April 12).
