Spring Forward - Class Registration

Course registration for Spring 2026 will be opening on Monday, November 3rd, and we want to encourage your student(s) to think carefully about their academic path for the second half of the year. Selecting courses now ensures they can choose from the best options and stay on track for graduation and future success.

We are excited about the opportunities the Spring semester holds and look forward to helping your student(s) achieve their academic goals.

Spring Registration Fast Facts:

  • Registration begins on November 3, 2025
    Your student will be assigned a day/time to register - make sure they check their Banner profile!

  • All students have an advising hold
    Make sure your student meets with their academic advisor to discuss courses for spring to release the hold.

  • Students can start planning for classes now in Banner
    Encourage your student to “Browse Classes” in Banner to plan out the days/times of courses that they discussed with their academic advisor.

Common Holds on Student Account

  • Academic Advising Holds: Connect with your assigned academic advisor to discuss course registration. You MUST meet with your academic advisor before you can register!
  • Financial Holds: Student Financial Services in Solution Central, Nicholson 4th Floor!
  • Parking Fines: RMU Parking Department. Pay your parking ticket online here! You can contact the RMU Parking Department at 412-397-2400 or parkingmgmt@rmu.edu and provide your Banner ID number.
  • RMU Health Forms/MyHealth Hold: Check out MyHealth RMU to learn more. You MUST submit your health forms to the Health Center before you can register!
