Wildflower Song

These past two weeks have been filled with Dharma activities. I spoke at a protest rally and a high school world religion class, and we received a new Thangka painting of Kurukulle for our center. Additionally, my new book materialized from the printer. I sincerely pray that all these fleeting offerings are of benefit to the world.

The book, titled “Wildflower Song: The Dharma of Wildness,” is a carefully curated collection of my Dharma Journal posts that explore the connection between nature and the teachings of the Dharma. It was lovingly initiated and created by a talented team of our sangha members, with special recognition to Elizabeth for her beautiful painting of a biscuitroot flower adorning the cover and Katrina for her exceptional layout design. I also want to express my gratitude to Dottie, Bryn, Susan, and all the other individuals who supported the publication in various ways.

The book is now available for purchase at our Dharma store, Dudleys’s Bookshop and Cafe, and through our website. To order the book, simply visit our donate page, click on “donate,” indicate you want a book, and provide your name and physical address in the designated fields. The cost is $15 in person or $20, including shipping, if you choose to order online. All proceeds generated from the book will be dedicated to supporting the Natural Mind Dharma Center and its ongoing activities.

I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who contributed to making this endeavor possible. May the “little” book find its way to those who find it helpful and enriching.

Much Love,

🙏🏼🌎❤️Michael

We experience joy in forming the intention to be generous.

We experience joy in the actual act of giving something.

And we experience joy in remembering the fact that we have given."
