Dear MCS Families and Friends:
Thank you for joining together to make MCS's 30th Birthday party a memorable milestone! The beautifully decorated ballroom was filled with energized parents, teachers, grandparents, alumni, and friends - united with a common purpose of supporting the past, present, and future of Mariners Christian School.
God's favor has rested on our school for the past three decades, and we couldn't be more excited to see what He has in store for the next 30 years.
One of the evening's highlights was our Fund-a-Vision with a focus on launching a full-scale Maker Education program for students. Because of the abundant generosity of our community, donors, and sponsors, MCS students will return Fall 2017 to experience a host of new experiences such as circuitry, woodworking, sewing, robotics, CAD design, 3D printing, and so much more. Thanks to YOU, the Gala generated gross proceeds of nearly $250,000 towards this initiative and other key programs for students! The possibilities are limitless for our children who are "Created to Make."
