Household Hazardous Waste Events
Spring Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) events have been cancelled due to the current COVID-19 pandemic. At this time and with the understanding of the fluidity of this situation, the intent is to hold the July and October events as scheduled. However, this is subject to change as the situation changes. RRRASOC is working diligently to schedule extra weekday HHW and shredding events. Specific details such as dates, times and locations will be announced upon determination.

Additional Household Hazardous Waste Options
RRRASOC residents can drop-off HHW at ERG Environmental Services in Livonia on non-event days without a fee, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday at 13040 Merriman Road, Livonia.

HHW pickup from your home is also available for a fee of $135 per stop plus $0.75 per pound of material collected. This fee is paid directly by the resident to ERG Environmental Services.

Keep Recycling! Materials are NEEDED!
Our basic needs come from somewhere so why not from our recyclables? Recycled paper can be made into new toilet paper; recycled plastic containers are made into new containers for cleaning supplies and medical necessities. 

Don’t stop recycling! The materials are needed now more than ever to meet the demands of manufacturers! 

The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) has issued  that waste and materials management activities are deemed essential and necessary. The RRRASOC MRF run by Republic Services continues to process materials, operating in accordance with COVID-19 safety protocols.

Recyclable materials are needed for manufacturers to continue to produce important necessities. Be a part of this cycle of production! Continue to recycle today's materials for tomorrows necessities.
