SUN ‘n FUN 2025 Takes Flight at Lakeland International Airport

It’s that time of year again—SUN ‘n FUN Aerospace Expo 2025 is soaring back into Lakeland International Airport from April 1–6, bringing with it one of the largest aviation events in the country.

While fans flock to see airshows, exhibits, and cutting-edge aircraft, the event also has a major economic and operational impact on our city. Lakeland International transforms into a bustling hub of aviation activity, temporarily becoming one of the busiest airports in Florida during the week.

Beyond the runway, SUN ‘n FUN contributes an estimated $250 million in annual economic impact to the region, supporting local businesses, hospitality, tourism, and jobs.

As always, the City of Lakeland is proud to host this signature event that not only celebrates aviation but fuels our community’s growth.

The closure includes the entire pier structure and adjacent areas. Please use alternate nearby public spaces during this time. We appreciate your patience as we work to keep this lakeside destination safe and beautiful for years to come.
