Greetings!
It’s almost time for spring inspections!
Health and Safety Inspections will take place Sunday, March 1 – Wednesday, March 4. All rooms will be entered during this time. Inspections include a brief visual check to ensure there are no health or safety violations.
This email serves as your official notice. Violations may result in charges on the first citation. Students with violations will be notified and given 24 hours to correct them. Failure to do so may lead to additional charges and/or referral to the student conduct process. Some violations of the Guide to Community Living or WFU Student Code of Conduct may require an immediate response.
Common violations include:
- Unsafe extension cords or flammable items
- Candles or items hung from ceilings/sprinklers
- Blocked exits or ventilation
- Excessive trash
- Lofted beds or removed furniture
- Lounge furniture stored in rooms
All furniture and items provided in your room or shared spaces must remain there.
Community staff will close and lock doors after inspections, so please take your keys and student ID with you when leaving your room during inspection week.
For full details, visit the Inspections Hub or review the Guide to Community Living. If you have questions, reach out to your community staff—we’re happy to help.
Best-
