One of the nice things about the rotation of our globe around the sun is the different seasons, holidays, and celebrations that it passes through. In Valparaiso Indiana, yesterday, it finally hit 80 degrees! Can you imagine? Only to plummet to the 40's the next day. I'd rather take the 80 degree weather rather than pretend it didn't happen.
So, we celebrated by hanging this by hanging the potted flower wall hanging on our front door. This may seem unusual to hang a "wall hanging" on the front door, but I noticed it on the interior front doors of the homes at Maple Crest Senior Living Center in Bluffton, OH a few years ago.
Since then we moved to Valparaiso IN and had a glass storm door over the front door. That provided us with the ability to post our "Door Hangings" for the world to see.
Over the years, we have had many such door hangings. Frosty the Snowman for Christmas. Frozen Snowflake for Winter. Hearts for Valentines. and a Beer Can" for St. Patrick's Day - just kidding on the last one - to name just a few.
Give it a try. It is a welcome alternative to rotating themes with wall hangings, with a little twist for the world to enjoy.
