WORLD HEARING DAY

Monday, March 3 was World Hearing Day, a day to encourage everyone to take steps to ensure good hearing health throughout life. As the workplace can be one of the leading causes of Noise Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL), OHCOW has resources to help workers monitor noise levels and take steps to prevent hearing loss caused by workplace noise.

Women in Industrial Hygiene Panel Discussion

March 8 is International Woman's Day, and the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) is featuring a panel discussion later this month on the topic of Women in Industrial Hygiene.

The event takes place on March 18th at 1pm EST. It will be a deep dive into the challenges and triumphs facing women in the field of industrial hygiene and occupational and environmental health and safety. Our expert panel of women from AIHA, ASSP, IOHA, and NSC will shed light on critical issues.
