Volunteers Find That Giving Is The Best Medicine
Greetings!

In his book, Give and Take: A Revolutionary Approach to Success, Adam Grant highlights many benefits of generosity. Several chapters of his book focus on research showing how volunteering provides tangible benefits to both employees and their employers. Life Science Cares has only been active in Philadelphia for a few months, but we are already hearing from our volunteers about their experiences:

"... this event (and more broadly the LSC Philly initiative) let me take a step back and recognize how fortunate/blessed I am. More importantly, it gave me the chance to commit some time to give back to those less fortunate. Now that's the gratifying part."

How will volunteering with Life Science Cares impact you? Get involved to find out - our upcoming volunteer events are described below. Just click the "sign up" button!

Don't see anything that fits for your schedule? You can always find information about upcoming volunteer opportunities on our website. We currently plan to have two to three volunteer events each month and will add new events to the website.
