Keep Our City Beautiful

The snow has melted and it's time to coordinate your team to participate in the Sioux City Litter Dash! The annual community litter cleanup event is scheduled for Friday, April 26 at 12:00 p.m. Volunteers of all ages are welcome and will be provided with a complimentary lunch at the Long Lines Family Rec Center before the cleanup begins. Working together, we can make a positive and visible difference in how our city is perceived. Thanks for volunteering your time!
Getting Around Town
The IDOT has closed the on-ramp to I-29 southbound from Wesley Parkway until mid-summer. On Friday, March 29, the IDOT will close the Floyd Blvd./I-29 underpass. Drivers should use Virginia St. to access I-29 from the downtown area for the next few months.

On May 1, access to I-29 southbound from Hamilton Blvd. will be closed through late May. Travelers on I-29 from Riverside will be able to maintain the southbound path. In addition, the frontage road between Hamilton Blvd. and Wesley Parkway will be restricted to one lane and may cause delays beginning in early May.
