Take Our Gratitude Photo Challenge

Start your day intentionally with "an attitude of gratitude"! Stop to pause and appreciate all the things you are grateful for in your life. See below for the challenge or click HERE for a printable image.

Have fun reflecting on all you are grateful for and taking photos on this beautiful day! Other ways to foster an attitude of gratitude include starting a personal or family gratitude journal, jar, or paper chain to keep track of all the things for which you are thankful!

  • Sohum Yoga is offering 5 free spots in their virtual 7pm “Gentle Therapeutic Yoga” class. Registration is required; there are still a couple spots available. To register, email [email protected]

  • Faris Farm Flowers will offer free flowers outside of their shop for members of the community to take and give to someone they are grateful for.

  • Westborough Public Library Teen Zone will host Takes All Kinds Trivia & Games for Teens from 4-5pm. There are a few spots still available. Register HERE.

  • Learning Express of Westborough is hosting a food drive for the Westborough Food Pantry. If you bring in an item, you will receive a small item of appreciation for your kindness. While in the store, fill out a raffle ticket for a chance to win a project kit (no purchase necessary). The kit will allow you to make something and show your kindness by giving the creation to someone. Winner will be picked on Sunday, March 28th.

  • Art Buddies is happy to spread kindness and the joy of art by giving away 10 fun art & craft supplies (for children interested in art and between the ages of 5-10). To qualify for the free art bag, Like their Facebook page HERE and email -[email protected] for pick up details. (limited to the first 10 requests; first come, first serve).

  • REGISTER TODAY FOR SATURDAY:
  • Westborough Connects Community Engagement Team will host a Connect Over Coffee at the Turquoise Table on Saturday from 8:30-9:30am. Pre-registration is required (location is in Westborough and address will be provided upon registration). Register HERE.

DON'T FORGET!
If you received a Kindness Coin in your Take and Spread Kindness Toolkit, please pass it along to someone who deserves it! Carry it around in your pocket or purse and have it ready to give away when you see something kind. Help us circulate this kind currency around the community. Share with us (via email or Facebook) your story of paying it forward.

  • SAVE THE DATE for Saturday's author event from 1-3pm at Tatnuck Bookseller featuring local children's author and retired Northborough elementary teacher, Farhana Zia, who will read two of her books, "Hot Hot Roti for Dada-ji" and "Lali's Feather."   • Helping Hand for Relief and Development is hosting a clothing & toy drive at 80 Turnpike Road. Click HERE to view details.

  • Board & Brush is offering a Choose Kindness @ Home Kit for a reduced price. Look at their FB page HERE for ordering information. They are also raffling 3 complimentary kits. Nominate someone who has shown kindness through their actions for a chance to win a kit for them. 

  • Visit the Boro Sugar Shack to leave a message on their Wall of Sweet Sentiments. All participants will receive a coupon to use in the store. 

  • Westborough Library Teen Zone is sponsoring a kindness writing contest HERE. Also, click HERE for their Kindness Bingo Board.

  • Visit the Kids’ Department section of the Westborough Public Library’s (WPL) website for kindness book suggestions and caregiver resources put together by the children’s librarian. Click HERE to browse the collection and request titles to borrow with your library card.

  • First United Methodist Church is celebrating by showing kindness to animals. Click HERE to see their daily suggestions or visit their Facebook page HERE.

  • Look out for special surprise ways our partners from the Westborough Public Schools, Westborough Women's Club, Boroughs YMCA, Westborough Police Dept., Westborough Fire Dept., Westborough Veterans Advisory Board and Westborough Girl Scouts will be spreading kindness.
