Township COVID Updates
The Governor's Executive Order #70 begins to open up areas of the Michigan economy, including construction.

Based on this order, MTS will be re-opening for building permits on May 7. Also, construction and landscaping may proceed. With this partial lifting of the Governor's Stay Home/Stay Safe Executive Order, expect to see construction sites back up and running. The Township has several significant building projects that will be bustling with activity.

Please remember that Township Hall remains closed to walk-in traffic until at least May 15. The staff is still working, and is available by email and phone. Documents may be mailed or dropped in one of our drop boxes (near the door on Exchange, and near the postal mail box behind Stan's).

Please continue to encourage social distancing to reduce the opportunity for the public spread of CV-19.
North Bank Trail Culvert Replacement
The North Bank Trail between Fruitport Rd and 148th Ave is completely closed for culvert replacement. Construction is beginning today, and is expected to take 3 weeks. Once the project is complete, the trail will be reopened.
Ottawa County Parks Survey
The Ottawa County Parks & Recreation Commission is preparing its five-year Parks, Recreation & Open Space Plan that will be released in 2021. They hope to hear from citizens this spring while conducting their 2020 Resident Survey. Whether or not you are a regular park visitor, if you own a home in Ottawa County, your tax dollars make this park system possible. They appreciate that and want to hear from you.

If you are an Ottawa County resident, please help improve your parks and plan for the future by taking the resident survey before May 15, 2020.
2020 Census
There's still time to respond to the Census! Getting an accurate count of our residents is important for revenue sharing and congressional representation. Thank you to all our residents who have already completed their forms. If you haven't responded, please do so soon!
