Road construction in Spring Lake is in full swing. Please be careful in the construction zones.
Boom Road is closed at 148th Ave. for culvert replacements. The end date has not been announced. For the detour, use 144th Ave. from the south, or 152nd Ave. from the north.
Beginning August 16, and lasting for about a month, 148th Ave. is closed from M104 to State Road for sewer work. Work will be occurring in the immediate area of the North Bank Trail, south of the southern entrance to Forest Lake Estates. The North Bank Trail is closed from 144th Ave. to 148th Ave. during this work.. The posted detour uses State Road, Fruitport Road and M104. When this work is complete, construction will move east into Crockery Township. The entire project is scheduled to be completed by December.
Construction on M104 from Spring Lake Channel to Lake Ave. begins August 16. For the week of August 16, there will be daily eastbound and westbound lane closings from 9am to 3pm for drainage structure adjustments in preparation for resurfacing work. Starting Monday, August 23, there will be nightly eastbound and westbound lane closures from 9pm to 6am for resurfacing work. A minimum of one lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction during construction. All work affecting traffic is scheduled to be complete by September 3.
For those of you traveling north, Harvey Street is closed at Judson Road for 4 weeks. There is a signed detour.
