It's been a while since I've sent anything out. Last year was hard emotionally and photography fell by the side. My elderly father that has lived with my Husband and me for the past 17 years slowly declined for much of the year. Then in September he went into the hospital and life was intense with multiple hospital visits and assisted living until he finally passed away on December 1st. I will miss him, but he will always be with me.

So that aside, I am looking forward to a new year and major changes in my life. I am working to get back into my photography work. Last year saw my first e-book published and I want to follow up on more books in that series. I have also found a love of astrophotography as illustrated in the image above. I hope to continue expanding my knowledge in that arena and will eventually offer classes. Below I have my usual Spring line-up at PVCC for you locals. Nature and Street photography and Lightroom of course.

Check it all out and hopefully I'll be more in touch this year, but not too much! I don't want to overwhelm you all too much.

Spring Photography Class Line-up!

PVCC Spring Class Lineup:

Beginning Lightroom - I love this program! I'll introduce you to the program and get you up and running. We'll cover the Library and Develop modules. You'll not find another program with so much flexibility and power that is this easy to use. Join me February 15th - March 15th Wednesday evenings!

I'm brining back Advanced Street/Travel Photography in April. Tons of fun shooting on the downtown mall each week and learning new ideas and techniques in lecture. Enjoy working with like minded photographers while inspiring each other. We'll share our work and grow our skills.

Join me for my favorite subject Nature with a Beginning Nature Photography class in May. I'll show you some of my favorite places to shoot in town, helping you in the field. And you'll learn all about equipment, techniques, lighting and composition in the lectures.
