Have you heard of Leña, the little pizza and bagel shop in the Mississippi Delta making a GIGANTIC name for themselves? Boy oh boy, have we got a treat for you!


Marisol Doyle is the owner of Leña along with her husband Rory. She specializes in wood fired pizza and bagels and is one heck of a badass pizza chef! She studied at the prestigious Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana in Napoli, Italy and completed a stage at Scuola di Pizzaiolo outside Naples.


Marisol was ranked in the top 100 Pizza Chefs IN THE WORLD in 2024 and mentioned as one of 22 best pizza places in the United States by the New York Times!


Our talented friends are coming to town to cook you pizza on the wood fire oven at White Pillars on 5/21/25! They will be adding several of their amazing pies to our regular dinner menu that night and all you have to do to enjoy world renowned pizza is make a regular ol reservation!

Eggplant Josephine: An edible piece of history


A classic dish from the Original White Pillars is back on the menu!


White Pillars was originally opened and operated by Virginia and John Mladinich from 1969-1989. It was definitely the place to be and Eggplant Josephine was a staple during that time. A few months ago Mrs Virginia, affectionately known as Mrs. V passed away but left behind an incredible legacy. Her influence on the culture and culinary scene of the Gulf Coast is immeasurable.


Mrs V believed that every meal at White Pillars should be an event - an experience filled with warmth, elegance, and intention. Its a philosophy we proudly carry forward every day,
